Ron Barcelo Anejo – Aged rum

What kind of rum do you bring from Dominican? I could not resist to have a bottle of aged rum.

Now I can tell you I have got still holidays at home, especially when I look at this beautiful – Ron Barcelo – Anejo-

Since 1930, The Dominican Republic has been the home of Ron Barcelo. Incomparable quality rum produced in the best conditions offered by the Caribbean.

San Pedro de Macoris, where is located the factory  has an average temperature of 30 degrees and humidity of 90% ideal for aging.

 

 

– Añejo –

A blend of superior rum aged in oak barrels. Supreme quality worthy of the noblest Dominican tradition.

It is ideal to drink straight, on the rocks, or served with soda water or cocktails.

Bright amber colour in dark smoky bottle. Has aromas of chocolate sweets,  fruity finish of dried cherries, pepper and tobacco.

Ron Barceló is among the 10 brands chosen by the IWSR (International Wine & Spirits Research) to form part of the exclusive Elite Brand’s List. This award is granted to alcohol brands of all categories that sell about over 1 million cases worldwide, with 40% of its sales outside its core market. Ron Barceló here has achieved the highest growth rate among all brands with which it shares this distinction.

Also it’s important to highlight that only two brands of rum are in the Elite Brand’s List being Ron Barceló the only Dominican brand therein.
