Petit Reblochon Fromages de France

Amazing cheese arrived  from Paris – a gift from my best friend.

I  enjoyed it so much…This cheese is so creamy and tastes very good even on its own. It leaves a nutty aftertaste.

Reblochon was the first cheese of the Savoie region to be granted the AOC certification, in 1958 – It is  prohibited to produce Reblochon cheese outside this region.

The area of production of this cheese is located in Haute-Savoie.

Reblochon cheese is cheese well-rounded, creamy, covered with a fine white “moss. Has slight odor of mold. It is a lightly pressed, uncooked cheese, made from full-cream unpasteurised milk.

Recently won Bronze medal at 2014 World Cheese Awards.
