This is my idea how to warm myself up, so I am going to share with you my recipe for homemade ginger tea.
Inrgredients:
- raw ginger (2-3cm) – depending on how strong you want it
- half of lemon
- honey
- star anise
Preparation:
Peel the ginger and slice thinly. Slice the lemon. Put in the teapot.
Boil the water (1litre) .
Add boiled water to the teapot. Cover it and leave it for about 5-10minutes. Add honey to taste.
Stir it well before pouring to cups. Add a couple of star anise.
The ginger tea smells and tastes delicious.
For a stronger taste you can boil the ginger for 10 minutes or even 20 minutes and add as much ginger as you like.
