MAC shopping – How I chose the colour I love

Today I would like to share my story how I chose my first MAC lipstick and lip pencil.

I was asked so many questions what colour have I got on my lips so I have decided to share my secret.

I was flying to Poland and as everybody passing through duty free shops at the airport.  I was travelling with my two kids and my husband.

My husband wanted to buy few presents and he hurried me up as we had plane soon.  My kids wanted to buy all chocolates and toys they could see.

I only managed to have a quick look at the MAC liquid lipsticks stand. Unfortunately,  it occurred the shade I wanted was out of stock. I wanted to buy a lipstick but there was so many and not enough time to make decision. When the MAC sales assistant came to offer her help I knew straight away:  the colour of her lips was so pretty.

I asked the assistant what shade she had and if it was in stock…. YES it was !!

No time for trying I said but enough to make my hubby to pay for it……

To make the perfect shade I have 2 products:

1.MAC PRO LONGWEAR LIP PENCIL MORNING COFFEE

 2.MAC SATIN LIPSTICK FLESHPOT.

I apply them in 2 steps:

STEP 1:

MAC PRO LONGWEAR LIP PENCIL MORNING COFFEE.

This  is lovely deep, so pigmented colour, so smooth to apply and really easy to draw the perfect lips.

Long-wearing, 8 hours

Smudge-proof

Transfer-resistant

Non-feathering

Provides stay-true colour

 

STEP 2: 

MAC SATIN LIPSTICK FLESHPOT – a nude beige lipstick with a satin finish.

This lipstick is just lovely. It mixes so nicely with my lip pencil, gives beautiful shade. It is soft on the lips and doesn’t dry out. You can also wear it on its own if you like nude lipsticks.

I am so pleased with the choice.  I never thought of using a pencil beforehand . I learnt something new! I use it all over before lipstick. It gives fantastic colour.
